I'm a Canadian whovian nerdfighter who is made of awesome but I don't feel it with my body. My goal is to be motivated, and to fit into size 10 jeans to be as awesome as I feel on the inside while living in New Zealand.
This is not a thinspo, fitspo, or pro-ed blog. This is a body positive, and sex positive health blog.
I arrived at the airport. No one was there to pick me up. A Japanese man saw me crying. He asked me, “Do you have anybody around you?” Hell, I didn’t have anyone with me. I asked him where I should go and he told me. I bought a ticket and got to Tokyo Station. I was in this huge subway system wandering around an hour and half. I couldn’t find an exit. I didn’t know what to do and nobody met me. There was no phone and I did not know what to do and I was lost for four hours.
I just finished watching this and I think a lot of people need to just watch it. Some parts are disheartening (like how people fear being a larger size) but it’s really nice, and re assuring that the body positive movement is actually starting to work.
It’s just fantastic. It’s about 20 minutes long, but it’s one of my favourite vice documentaries so far and needs more views.
